After a hiatus of more than a year, we finally bring you more ShibaO. Chapters 3 and 4 are now up for download. And everyone give a warm welcome to Heavenguard, our new editor!

Added brief summaries for most of the stories in Love Get You. If you have an opinion on which story you'd like to see first, send us a line. Maybe our tech staff can even devise a poll option or something. [Might happen, if you ask nicely. B.]

Well, today we bring you Tsuki no Shippo Chapter 18 and our big announcement. Tsuki no Shippo has been licensed in the US by VIZ Media!!! It will be released under the title 'Tail of the Moon' (a literal translation of the Japanese title) and the first volume will be out in October of this year. New volumes will follow every two months (which is considerably faster than we could put it out for you). We're sad that this means the end of The Sylphs' work on Tsuki no Shippo, but are totally excited that VIZ recognized this great manga.

We will continue to put out new chapter summaries as long as the manga is running, so don't think we shall totally leave you hanging as you wait for the legal releases. Downloads will remain up temporarily, but could come down at any moment so don't delay if you are missing any chapters. We ask that everyone hosting Tsuki no Shippo on either a website or fserv please stop doing so immediately. You may continue to host Tsuki no Toiki and ShibaO.

Though we are losing our most popular series, please don't count us out! We shall do our best to bring out new projects that you will love, so keep checking back with us. Thank you for all your support of Tsuki no Shippo over these last 2 years! And be sure to support Tsuki no Shippo in the US by buying VIZ Media's releases!

P.S. DO NOT TAKE OVER THIS PROJECT!!! BUY THE LEGAL RELEASE LIKE A DECENT HUMAN BEING! [...lest Drumsticky's wrath descend upon you. B.]

We are working on the next chapter of Tsuki no Shippo and hope to have it for you soon, but while you wait check out an adorable manga called GET LOVE! scanlated by the group Condensation (who just celebrated their 1 year anniversary, by the way). We are considering finishing up the manga, Home, by Ueda Rinko if we can find a translator and (perhaps) someone to scan it for us. If you are interested in either translating or scanning Home please contact us at NihongoNerd@gmail.com. And sorry about the lack of releases for the past 2 months >_< We should have at least one release in September.

UPDATE: We won't be picking up HOME after all, so never mind >_<

All downloads are temporarily down for the moment due to server problems and most likely a server switch. We'll do our best to get everything running again as soon as possible. I think there may even be people offering http downloads of it there.

After a long wait, Tsuki no Shippo ch.12 is finally here! If you used to be on the mailing list, sorry! Tsuzuki Love's hard drive crashed and the list went with it. It's possible we may be able to recover it...eventually, but it would probably be easier for us if you just email NihongoNerd@gmail.com and ask to be added again. Sorry!

It looks like chapter 2 of TnS is going to remain stuck in QC over spring break :( Sorry! We're as anxious to get it released as you probably are to read it. Hopefully it will come out at the beginning of April. In the meantime, we're working on chapter 3, so expect a much shorter wait between those two releases.

I'm trying to keep a relatively up to date account of our progress, so keep an eye on the "status" section of each title (well, our ONLY title ^_^) if you are interested in how close we are getting to a release.

Added a new staff memeber as well, a native Japanese speaker, who has volunteered to help out with translating onomatopoeia ("sound" words) and the occasional difficult bit of text. YAY!

Its finally here, the last part of Natsu no Yume! And NO it did not take so long because I was HIDING from Drumsticky's wrath in a closet...she LOCKED me in it until I finished the translations. Oh well, it was better than the whip she used for part 2...^_^
Now that Tsuki no Toiki is finally complete, its time to announce our NEW project, Tsuki no Shippo! This is Ueda Rinko's current series and in it you'll find many of your favorite characters from Tsuki no Toiki. Be sure to stay tuned for the first chapter, coming in the not so immediate but not too distant future. ^_^

Merry Christmas everyone!! Well, almost ^_^. As an early Christmas gift we of The Sylphs present to you the first part of Tsuki no Toiki: Natsu no Yume. We've decided to split the story into 4 parts so we could release sooner. For the record it is totally my fault it is taking so long. Drumsticky has had the scans ready for months and has just been waiting for me to send her the final draft of the translations. Sorry ^_^; Well, enjoy!!

FINALLY found some free time to do this update. We have an affiliate site now! Ashita no Anime is working to release Ai no Kizu in German! Cool, huh? Its taken me several weeks to find time to acknowledge them, so I hope they don't hate me now ^_^; Now if I can just find the time to finish the final draft of the translations maybe we can finally release something ourselves!
